Managing Director of Asset Management
Brian Stertzer is the managing director of WealthStone Asset Management. He not only leads the asset management team, but he is also responsible for pioneering the WealthStone multi-advisor Armada solution for high-net worth individuals, family offices, endowments, and foundations.
Brian received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Capital University and began his career in 1977 at the public accounting firm Ernst & Ernst. After joining WealthStone in 1983, he helped start the WealthStone asset management division. Later, Brian took a sabbatical to purchase and lead a private company that became the largest private employer in Central Ohio which he sold in 1997. He then rejoined WealthStone at the helm of the asset management division to lead the firm forward in providing evidence-based investment solutions.
Brian and his wife live in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where he enjoys golfing, boating and water sports and long motorcycle trips on his Harley. They have three children and eight grandchildren. He serves as a board trustee for multiple not-for-profit organizations, with The Fellowship of Christian Athletes being a primary focus.
Fun Fact: Coming out of college, he was torn between the career decision of being a CPA or Marine Fighter Pilot.
